On September 22, 2019, the Finals of the "Guyu Cup" National College Students Sustainable Architecture Design Competition was held at Chongqing Jiaotong University in Chongqing. There are 143 finalists in the competition, and a total of 14 in our school, accounting for 10%. After fierce competition, the student team of our school have made great achievements: one first prize (instructor: Dr. Xia Dawei), two third prizes (instructor: Dr. Xia Dawei, Dr. Wan Fengdeng), seven excellence awards and three technical awards. This is a breakthrough of our school in the “Guyu Cup” National College Students Sustainable Architectural Design Competition in recent years.

The theme of this competition is: Space Mining - Urban Organic Renewal Design, which aims to guide architectural students to pay attention to the renewal of urban space, the improvement of urban environment and the creation of urban communities from a professional perspective. Through space mining and implanting new functions, it will stimulate the vitality of urban space, improve the quality of urban environment, create the public value of urban communities, and ultimately achieve the improvement of the quality of human settlements. After many rounds of expert selection and on-site defense, the students' works in our school finally achieved gratifying results. First Prize Show:
